Hey all, here's a few pics I took in a hurry of my new rims and tires. This configuration doesn't rub or bottom out (with TRD suspension).

well, the reason I was in a hurry was because the car went back to Danzio today (finally!) for a new fuel system, new engine management and further tuning.

She will be down for 1-2 weeks, but should be quite the beast upon return!

 

I like the wheels. But I like the brakes even better.

I forgot to thank Evan at Vivid Racing (www.vividracing.com) big time for getting the rims and lug nuts over here from Japan so quickly, and the guys at America's Tire in Woodland Hills (81 999-5303 for getting the tires and installing them.

 

how much were the tires? :D

 

I think this size tire ran about two hundred bucks apiece, they are rated for 8 - 10k miles. verrry soft.....

 

shoulda gone 245 on the rubbers if ya ask me, but you didn't but I like! Dang, man... lots of money

 

Looks really nice. I was going to get the same rim (in bronze), but didn't want to shell out the 2k for them. Do you have any side shots of them, with the whole car in the pic?

I may try 245's, but I am liking the fact that these dont rub at all...

 

I am looking at getting those in 17x8.5 +44 so I can run a 255/40.
