Default TRD Supercharger + Auto Fit Kit + Boost Pulley(9.5 psi)=???

I've been reading here and there that this setup is an automatic transmission killer. Unfortunately the people writing about it were very vague and ominous about it. What do you guys know about upping the boost on an automatic transmission? Is it going to destroy the tranny or the engine?

Do these people actually have proof and hard evidence to back what they say or are they just speaking out their @$$?

I haven't seen any ATs break so far with a TRD SC. There have also been several people around here who have been using turbo kits on their ATs and if I remember correctly none of them have broken yet. If anything, a turbo set up would be more likely to cause AT issues because of the way it delivers the power. The TRD SC does not even make max power until you get very close to redline so the SC would be easier on an AT during daily driving and every day use.

i actually have a friend with an auto sc and its still slow... i remember when we were picking it up the guy at the dealership was saying that its not the best idea to put a smaller pulley on the sc cause it will wreck the tranny... but with a stock pulley and not too much boost... i would assume you'd be fine... its just when you get greedy you get F!@$%*
