How much do you think my tc is worth?
Any ideas how much my tC might be worth, in terms of trade in, actual retail value, and private sale price?
It's a 2007, 5 speed manual, nautical blue, under 6000 miles, side airbags, TYC taillights, TRD short shifter, scion floor mats, wheel locks. It's in perfect condition, and had it's 5000 mile service. It has the yokohama tires instead of the bridgestones, if that makes a difference.
I think it was about $18500 or so before tax when I bought it in July.
They don't have the 2007 on kbb.com yet to get the official number, but looking up a 2006 with no extras, I got the following:
trade in - $16785
retail value - $20285 (how can this be? it's more than it costs new)
private sale - $18530 (again, how? someone could buy a new one for the same price)
So, I guess what I'm really asking is how much more will be added to these numbers being a 2007 model?
Also, does anyone know if those extras they sell you, like the tire insurance (very useful, already paid for itself with 1 tire lol), and dent and ding removal coverage, can be passed on to a buyer?
Thanks,
Dan

Trade in value: is what you can get for it as a trade in
Retail value: is what the dealer will more than likely sell it for
Private sale: is what it is worth to you taking in to consideration the condition, mileage, and mods.
Don't know about your other questions.
But I believe that if you decide to trade it in, you are almost smarter taking it to CarMax since they are supposed to give ( I'd check to make sure ) the blue book value on your car whether you buy from them or not.

Tc is a hot car
I talked to the dealer I bought mine from
(got it for their price they payed for it. I know z owner muhaha)
They fly off the lot once they have them
So I figure if you private sell
there are some people willing to pay more than the actual price
