The choices of glass...
Ah yes, an assigment for a class is "glass" and with being in close distance to Seattle and Tacoma, it arouse an interesting problem of sorts.
I have been to the new Seattle Library and the Tacoma Museum of Glass but is there any of places out there that features unique glass or heck even glass blowing?
What would you all recommend??

theres a parking garage near 9& howle... that has 1 water/glass sculputure thing in the lobby... few hundred of the glass floats held against about a 10ft wall by a cargo net and water dripping/flowing down that... its in the new life sciences building (i think thats the name) across the street from the greyhound station down town seattle...
other than that off my head... nothing

I believe there is an old Train Station in Tacoma that has a very large hand blown glass piece in the lobby. I heard it was worth a couple million dollars or something like that.

What about a saturday market? They might have a glass blower you could talk to. Or you could go to a Brewery and take pic's of the bottles as they come down the line.

For blown glass you can check the PRATT studios which do classes in it. In addition, Glassy Baby (glassybaby.com) downtown has a studio where they make those cute (but expensive) votive holders.
