Default AEM COLD AIR INTAKE install

So I've bought the AEM intake for the ScionTC. I've got a couple of questions. The hump hose - is it meant to go on the throtle body or attach to the second pipe?

I'm also interested to know when attaching the pipe - is it meant to touch the throttle body of the car or how far in to the rubber is it suppose to go?

Excuse my ignorance - i'm a newbie.

Anyone out there with an AEM CAI< I would really appreciate any help. To clarify what I meant from the previous post. - I received other parts besides the aluminium piping. Amongst them is a rubber 'hump' hose and a silicone 'coupler'. Now my question is - which one attaches to the throttle body. It's a little confusing 'cos the pictures of the installation sheet provided shows that the silicone coupler attaches to the throttle body but yet the diagram depicts that it should be the 'hump' hose.

Now onto my second question - picture this: rubber 'hump' hose or silicone coupler already attached to the throttle body - now when I attach the other end which is the aluminium intake pipe, do I push it into the rubber as far as possible so that it makes contact with the throttle body ?

I hope that made it a bit clearer.
Thanks for the link but its not really much help.

DO whichever one fits, it is just a connection. You don't want the intake to be touching the throttle body though, it will create vibrations that you will hear, you do want it really close though.

thanks sddykstr that's all I wanted to know - I just thought that the silicone coupler may be more heat resistant or something. chrischoi that's not funny..
