Expecting 75-90mph gusts along the coast. I don't think they're screwing around with it this time 8]

well the blowing rain sideways has started, the storm earlier this week blew a tile off of the new roof and it landed on the top of one of our Tc's and dented the side pillar just behind the dorr really badly I was NOT a happy camper.

BUt at any rate I like a good storm I jsut hate the repercusions from them.... i.e. power outages, grandma won't be able to watch her CSI and will be glaring at everyone.

Since we are use to power outtages, my child is in the shower right now and I will be soon. The wind is blowing about 20mph with heavy gusts. We have no large limbs down yet, but expect some soon.

Oil lamps are on the table and the water filled milk jugs are in the freezer.

I also have a case of coors light and a brand new bottle of anjo rum just screaming for me to open. There is nothing better than a storm and a nice glass of booze to give me that warm fuzzy..

Ya know something else that's cool about power outtages?

It's how quiet it really is with everything off and how difficult it is to sleep in complete silence... Well, that and the fact that the dog snores like a chainsaw bogging threw a wet piece of oak.

Everyone enjoy the evening with your loved ones.. It's like camping... playing board games, making smores over a oil lamp and snuggling up with the comforter off the bed.

well everyone it looks like it is time to hunker down break out the warm sweaters adn amke sure that you have plenty of batteries and water on hand. This one is looking kind of serious. I jsut got a call from home and was told that wind gust could reach up to 100 miles an hour and that this could be the worst strom of the century. So keep warm and safe everyone and be very careful.
