Default Anyone have a P.T.A.???

okay so i was at work today looking on the internet and was searching through the Beltronics site. Came across the "Performance Timer Accelerometers." I saw 2 different models, the FX1 and FX2. $80 dollar difference. They both can tell what kind of numbers you are running. 1/4 times, 0-60 times, and also whp numbers. Couple other things but that was my main interest. Anywho, my question is, has anybody used one of these or something like it? Also according to the site they say it is "almost" dead on on the numbers. I mean if this thing really works then i would think it would be better than going to the track or dyno to see what numbers you can put up. Any info would be appreciated. And anybody that "may" bash me if this has been talked about...i searched. wrote it out and initials. Thanks!

If what you are talking about is like the G-tech Pro, then it has to be calibrated in order to give accurate readings.

Why haven't you moved it to the tC?

I thought it was pretty acurate. The whp #'s were within 7 of what I had the srt4 dyno'd at. and the quarter mile times were very close to what I ran at the track. Wasnt sure about the 0-60's cuz I never had it tested for real. But they were within factory claims. So I like it.

I have the FX1 and I really like it. The acceleration times are right on with what what the magazines are reporting for a stock tC (when it was stock). Even if the numbers aren't dead on, it allows you to gauge how your mods affect your car's performance.
