Lowering the tC
Alight so this is probably going to sound like a dumb question to you guys since most of you guys are pros at this.....but....I'm not and my knowledge of cars extends to oil changes and not much further....
But question one.....how do I go about lowering my car...what tools are needed...instructions...recommended products for the procedure....etc...
Oh and how low is still a safe height to avoid causing damage hitting objects in the road (roadkill, etc)

Go to the Tech section and you will find the answers to all these questions. It isn't too hard for most people, just very time consuming if it is your first time doing it.
As far as ride height, I have the TRD springs and haven't had any problems. Lowers the car for a better look and handeling, but still high enough to clear road debris.

i bought TRD springs originally but then sold them and got tein coilovers since the eventual need to upgrade the shocks would bring my total price into coilover territory anyway. install isn't tough, i used this guide when installing.
