Mightygnu 01-11-2007, 12:59 AM as long as you aren't throwing a cel, you will be fine. ya. think you'll be good jonathan110987 01-11-2007, 06:11 PM just go to a rundown place they'll give everyone stickers... Tribalboy04 01-11-2007, 06:24 PM /\ that is true /\ Romanova 01-11-2007, 06:35 PM A little extra cash to the guy doing the inspection never hurts either. If you have an AFC, lean out the idle and 2k settings right before you do the inspection if they check emissions. RSracer 01-11-2007, 09:44 PM Well I hope you guys are right, thanks for the input tCTaco 01-12-2007, 04:34 PM Let me know when its time....I gotta hook up! My "Friend" will run the car and as long is dosent send up a red flag, he just ignores the add ons.. What side of you Houston did you move to? UV7 01-12-2007, 05:03 PM You need to be careful where you decide to move to in the Houston area. Houston's metro area is in Harris County, but many residential areas extend well beyond Harris County. In Texas, you have to be inspected in the same county in which you live. For example, I live in Montgomery County, just north of Tomball. I cannot get my cars inspected in Tomball even though I am only 2 miles away because Tomball is still considered Harris County. Find out where you are going to be living, then the list of places can be narrowed down. If you are in Harris or Montgomery Counties, let me know, and I'll hook you up. I've got friends that run a few places around these areas that will ignore any mods. As long as your blinkers, headlights, brakelights, and horn work, and the car will pass the emission test, they will give you a sticker. If it won't pass the emission test, you may still end up with a sticker, but it will cost you a bit more. :lalala: |
