Default Courtesy lights in the mirror turn signals w/ video and pic

Im working on hooking up some white lights in the turn signals that come on with the dome light when you unlock it. cool huh

well, i finished the driver side and im pretty happy with it. i have 4 super white leds hooked up and they project out about 10 feet or so and light up just under the mirror for an easy viewable path to the door. the pix and the video do no justice.

Very nice! :D

A few questions...

Did you replace the amber LEDs we have in there with the white ones and then wired them to the dome lights?

And does your turn signals still work?

EDIT

Just watched the video, it answered my questions...

i was thinking of hte same idea, except mine were gonna be drilled down so they only shine on the car, if its pitch black, and you walk toward a bright light, you cant see what is behind that light... so in a way, it works but also can hinder your visibility as well... it would be more efficent if you didnt directly see the led as in drill it so it faces directly down and lights up the ground or used them under the car to light up where the car is exactly. as when you have underbodies, the glow bounces back up and hits the side of hte car makin it visible, so you can see the door.

and just to be clear, these are not the turn signals. they only come on when the dome lights are on, either when you unlock it or the door is open.
i will be switching the LED's to look more uniformed than they do
