Kind of a dumb question but I bought my TC used and was looking at a set of TRD springs but then looking at the forum people were saying they have 2 or 3 fingers width between tire and wheelwell after installing the spring so I see what mine is at now and its at 3 fingers. I am 99% sure its stock height but I havent come across another one recently to compare it to. Is it possible it already has a set of TRD's? Is there any way to tell by looking at the springs?

 

TRD springs are white & the New TRD springs are red. The stock ones are black.

 

if their black they are stock springs if they are another color they are lowin springs

 

Post a picture if you don't feel like going out to your car and we can tell you in a second

 

not to threadjack or anything, but why did they change the TRD springs from white to red? can we still get them in white?

I have TRD and I can only get 1 maybe 2 fingers in my wheel gap. If you have almost a 3 finfer I am guessing they are stock springs.

 

this is TRD's on stock struts (upgrading soon to full TRD suspension)

 

i think with a 3 finger gap its stock height

 

Stock height u can get a whole fist in there....

 

here's the difference, my car TRD springs on 18's- friends stock springs on stock wheels....
