Default After repairs

I just got my car back from repairs after a car accident on the highway. The insurance bill was about $6,0000. Now, I notice that one of my rims is messed up. I don't know if it was done by them accidentally while fixing it or not because its like a long peel of metal coming off the edge of the rim.

Also, they didn't replace all my tires which all deflated during the incident. I can understand them re-using it, kinda, but you can see pieces of rubber peeling off the tires too . I tried to get them to replace it but they said insurance won't cover it.

Does the warranty replace something like the rim? ... and stuff.

No, the warranty won't cover damage from an accident.

call your insurance adjuster. if the damage on your tires was caused by the accident then insurance should pay for it. always check on the work of your car while it's in the shop (review your parts etc) and check your car inside and out before paying!

unfortunately, if you were in an accident, the repairs are not covered under warranty.

the warranty is sort of scion's commitment to you that everything rolled out of the factory in proper working order. the warranty is more a guarantee of craftsmanship than it is an insurance policy.

if you talked to your insurance company, and were told the tires were not covered, you might still ask them about the rim. it's possible it was overlooked in the repair, and if all of your tires 'deflated' during the accident, it's likely there could have been damage to the rim.

it sounds like there was DEFINITELY damage to the tires, and whether insurance will cover or not, you should definitely address their integrity.
