Default Most Quiet Exhaust for xB??

While others would like to be super loud with there rice cans, I'm gonna step in the other direction and want it to be as silent as possible.

The stock exhaust is already sorta loud. is there any after market exhaust system that is more quiet than stock?

There is a big advantage to soundproofing the rear hatch and the floor area behind the rear seats.

resonator...take a look at the underside or your car, youll see your Cat, and then another bulge that looks like a cat, its your res. supposed to help in getting exhaust out faster, thats if i remember right, might work in a more silenced exhaust.

i have the trd, its pretty quiet, i've heard the tanabe and greddy are very quiet also.

if i could have i woulda kept my strup but i didnt have time to do the sound deadening yet. if i could describe the droning strup i would imagine it sounds something like a walrus being kick in the nuts repeatedly.

Fully agree!! covering the rear area floor and 1/4 panel sides with raamat made a big difference in exhaust sound infiltration as well as increased how hard my subwoofers hit (they are mounted in the spare area).

InVidia: you cant get any quieter than this. I have full exhaust including header and when its cold you can barely here the exhaust. As soon as it warms up then you get a nice low rumble.

I got the Tanabe Touring Medallion after getting rid of my overly loud DC exhaust. I like the Tanabe a lot.

it's a pre muffler muffler. it can be chambered or glass packed. it kills out resonance as well as quiets the exhaust note. they can be bought at any muffler shop , kragen , napa , pepboys

I have a Greddy SP2 axleback and its pretty quiet with a nice sounding tone. It also sounds like a Subaru when I start it.

I have a Strup exhaust and you can put a simple little silencer in it and you can't even here it. It's really your opinion on what you are looking for.

I kinda like the stock sound. Amazing though the Eco seems more quiter. Maybe getting the Eco's exuast will do?
