First, they have no right to deny you warranty coverage unless they can prove the aftermarket stuff caused it.

Second, this is a known issue, or should be, with the 07. I am hearing of more and more of these failing.

Dont let them screw you around. Make them prove to you that your parts caused it.

If I had some access to an 07 with this issue, I would LOVE to tear into the HVAC to troubleshoot the issue. I could then provide proof of what is happening for people in this situation. Problem is, the 05-06 doesnt seem to ever have the issue and they changed the hvac on the 07, so I havent heard of any I could test on, since I cant test it in the 05 car.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ X2 what Dave said!

Go to another dealer if that one is screwing with you. You have warranty for a reason.

I am going to reccomend what I did for those with the hatch rattle (but no on would take the time to do it). Start a thread for NOTHING but info on the 07 HVAC issue. Collect some vin numbers and issues and send them to Scion. They eventually need to create a recall or at the very least a TSB for this issue.
