Flint Mica xB?
Hi all - I'm new from Chicago and really dig this forum.
I bought my 2006 xB in July (from Elmhurst, IL), and love everything about it. I've recently started minor mods including under-seat/dash, cupholder, and vent led lighting, cabin air filter, led dome lights, sirius radio, dash pads, arm rest, cargo storage and net, etc.
I'm now getting into it enough to do the rim/wheel thing, as well as bumper and spoiler. In order to that, I obviously need to know my official color. My question is is this:
Is my box Flint Mica, as the sticker, invoice, and paperwork all state? It certainly looks like it. Does a 2006 Flint Mica exist? I've searched the forums and find many references, but the official color charts won't confirm that year with that color. One post actually refers to it as 'the elusive flint mica xB...' I see Shadow Mica mentioned - is there a difference? I'm so confused.
Does anyone have a definitive answer? Any help is appreciated.
thanks guys -

It's pretty much the best color. It's got a mean color shift to it.
I just cleaned all of the road salt off of it and immediately fell in love with this color all over again.
In the right light, it looks two toned... Grey, Black, Green... and the flake in the paint is nuts!
