Default Wheel Spacer for tC

Okay I am sure there is other posts on this subject but I couldn't find one. So if there is don't jump my case!

What is a good size wheel spacer for the front and rear on the tC? I have seen other cars with them and it really gives a nice look. Also, do you have to get longer wheel studs when you install the spacers? Let's hear it.......

nah, took us 4 hours or so to do them. took 3 hours to do the left side, and then an hour to do the right side once we figured out how to do everything

Have you noticed any downsides to them? You were at exposed in ATL weren't you? I asked you about your killer glass, if that was you.

That is what I was afraid of man. I think this is a mod that I may not do. Not cheap to do it right and that $100 and change could go into the go-faster fund.

that's ultimately what your choice in mods boils down to. i got them because i think flush wheels is hawt.

Any idea how large of a spacer one could use without requiring new studs? Is that even possible?

do you think if i run 20mm all around with stock wheels and a trd drop i'll have any problems?

nah. that'll put you roughly around the flushness of my wheel/spacer setup + the only reason i rub on dips is because of the stech's. with a trd drop, you'll be fine.

type into google tc sportline wheel spacers. They come with the studs already attached in the spacer. btw the tc sportline is the name of the company and just coincidence they make spacers for the scion tc. I got 25 mm for the rear but i have some nasty rubbing on only one side, no clue why. Anyway, the spacers are hubcentric, and are as easy to install as putting on a wheel.

i have a set of 01 impreza wheels on. the tire size is 205/55/16. i think they're 16x6.5. i dont know the offset or whatever but they're pretty in there. i'm getting ksport coilovers and adjust them to maximum performance which is like a 1" drop right? you guys thing 15mm in front and 25mm in rear will help handling since the wheels are really inside? i don't really care much about looks.

i was thinking of getting these wheel spacers
