so i leave my car at the bar last night so i wouldn't drive drunk. i walk the 200ft to my apartment (lol) and crash for the night. go to get my car in the morning and the antenna was broke off. the threads are still in there.

what are my options for a new antenna. i very very ____ed. it's always something with this car

 

as in they just took the antena rod? The base is still there and ready and able to accept any antenna to screw in. Well then theres many options pretty much any antenna on any car just gotta decide what you want. You could go back to scion and order a new one or see if you can get warranty to replace it dont know if that would work though. I think i saw someone was trying to sell theres on here go into the parts for sale page from the tC main page and look for it. Many people have put the Honda S2000/Element antenna on there cars. I think there like $29.95 from the dealer but you can probably find one somewhere on the internet cheaper.

 

Can someone pls make a s2k antenna that when someone other than the owner touches it, Spikes come out!!! SO many antenna jackers out there

 

yea that sux. You can just get an s2k antenna for like $20. Its a simple screw on. Thats assuming you can get whats left of the other one out and there isnt any damage to the car.

 

You can use a tiny drill bit to get it out. I'm going to buy an s2k antenna tomorrow.

 

yea, some drunk _______ just broke it off. i got the threads still in there. i'll get it out.

so i guess i'll either go back to stock or try the s2000 antenna
