Default Street Concept's Joining The Club

I have contacted Street Concept and they have asked me to help them build a new body kit for our tCs. Any suggestions? This isn't fo sho yet, but they said i can help them design this body kit. Cmon, Scion community, send me your photoshops, your art designs, what you guys want made. Only one though.

I have a design of my own, that's a more generous and more porportionate bumper similar to stock with a molded on lip kit. But if i can find someone that can impress me with your idea of a bumper, i can get try to get it made. Material, will most likely be fiberglass but i'm not sure. www.streetconcepts.com Thats their website. Replies wanted please

agreed. c-west for the IS is hot. and it's not unique enough to be an obvious bite. besides, what hasn't been done already?

Taek, this is a killer opportunity, congrats on being able to have a say in some of the future styling of aftermarket tC kits. Maybe you can show them the overwhelming response about the TRF spoiler and even though they can't duplicate it exactly, maybe they can come up with something close. I know that Viniati has the one that is similar to a G35 spoiler, but something's just not right about it, atleast in the pix that I've seen online. Hopefully Viniati will be able to make it work out with the TRF guys, but I have my doubts since licensing would be involved. As for side skirts, I'm thinking something conservatively aggressive (if that makes sense) and clean kinda like the BMW M3 E36, or even something similar to the peices on the G35 ground effects kit. As for front bumper, I'd like to see something that really flows with the stock lines, but relocates the fogs to underneath the headlights instead of in the center grille, similar to the BMW M3 E46. Also a center section that would allow for decent air flow for an intercooler, but isn't a big gaping hole in the bumper. For the rear bumper, I'd love to see something that has a small diffuser on the rear, but not too big of a diffuser that's gaudy. Something that has small cut-outs for a dual-exhaust, since I think someone is going to come out with a useable dual exhaust for the tC pretty soon. I don't think it should be too aggressive, maybe something like the new BMW M5 or M6 or this one of a Galant that I found. My last suggestion, it would be cool if they could come out with a hood with a molded in hood scoop similar to the WRX, not the new STI because I think that one would be too bulky for the tc and not be good with it's lines, but maybe one similar, but lower profile like the one I found online in the pic. I wish my photochop skills were better so I could chop all this stuff onto a tC. Oh well, in my mind it looks awesome lol.

something like that?

okay welll, i'm thinking about going to an european lip kit with a rear diffuser for an angled exahust. not a dual because our car's a inline 4, but maybe, if someone comes out with a dual exhaust.

They have a lip kit that they're going to send me the info and pics on monday, and they told me they want to do an entire bumper...so we'll see. thanks for the suggestions scott

anybody else?

Taek, awesome pix, yeah that rear bumper is exactly along the lines that I was thinking, something that's aggressive, yet subdued, very Euro vs. some of the more "rice" kits out there. I totally agree though about the dual exhaust, I guess as much as I'd like to see it for aesthetic reasoning and I'd love to get the sound of either the G35 or the Volks R32, it's just not a good mod for our little 2.4's not to mention 2 cylinders short. The front bumper on that car is sweet! If you have any input, tell them that some of us would be more than willing to pay a little extra for a Urethane kit instead of fiberglass, atleast i would. I think the fit and the finish would be better with a Urethane kit vs. FG (I know, thats a whole other debate entirely lol) Taek, good job of taking this project on.

how bout that kaeon kit that tc tunerz never released? That front is tight. As for the rest of the kit, somehting simple not to agressive.

Yah know a euro style kit for the tC would be hot. I am not really big into JDM look alike styling for the tC since there are no JDM styles for the tC. Something Unique something.. USDM!

c-west would be weird because our car's are too round and a little fat and chubby. m3's front end would be good but i wanna see if i can incorporate c-west into it

Is it a wide body kit?

Because I really think the fenders need some beefing up. Not like the touring kit though but something a little more fluid. See the front of that M6? I think that needs to be done on the tC and the hips definitely need some curving.
