How do you guys keep your Exhaust clean from the road?
Hey everyone, I wanted to make a thread about this b/c i searched it and nothing came up.
If you do at all, or if i'm the only 1...which i doubt...post your method on how you keep your Stainless exhaust clean.
I usually start by backing my car up onto lifts and spaying mine with some Rim grime and breakdust cleaner and letting it sit for a few minutes to get off the stuff that chunks up on it. After i've done that, i usually get a bucket with a sponge (that cant scratch) and rub whatever i can off of it. Might repeat if i have to...and it doesnt look clean enough to me. After that i usually just use any kind of Chrome polisher and it usually comes out looking new.
I heard that their is some kind of stuff that truckers use on their gas tanks to get this stuff off. But i'm not sure what it is...and if it is safe for the exhausts. When you read this let me know if you think what i said is bad or you have any better suggestions on How-to clean yours.
Thanks a lot for reading. Looking forward to everyones feedback.

I have the TRD Exhaust. After washing my car, I spray my exhuast with Windex and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. Then I follow it up with Sprayway stainless steel cleaner (arisol can) and wipe it down with a microfiber towel again. Shines like new everytime! :D
If you are wondering why Windex? It is because the amonia in the windex works great at cleaning ss.
