Yes this T.S.B covers P0112 the same as that thread.... But that thread is a petition for a T.S.B.... This thread was just to let everyone know that there is a T.S.B effective for this now.... Although I don't look forward to performing the repairs.... :yawn:

You mean that in JTLKT3#4#64078922, each # stands for a number from 1 to 9?
That makes no sense for telling people if they have a car affected by the P0112 problem. Scion would not do it that way.
I want to know if my VIN falls in a range that is between two VIN numbers.
From looking at JTLKT3#4#64078922, , who can say what are the two VIN numbers that establish the first affected car and the last affected car?

probably because not all of the numbers are sequential. Those with # are probably codes for paint color and transmission or something like that. probaably the last 6 digits are sequential.

They may tell you if it applies but a TSB is not a recall. They won't be fixing anything until you actually have the problem.
