Default CEL, VSC, TO Nightmare

So I have read most of the forums on the CEL, VSC, Trac off lights on, but any input on this senario. My lights came on so I took it to the dealer. The XB had a rough idle and would sputter above 3000 rpms. They said the code was MAF. So they replaced the MAF and I drove it 2 miles down the road and the lights came on again. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the MAF (x2) and the computor. Still the light would come back on after several miles. They then disconnected my aftermarket remote start and alarm system plus my aftermarket amp. The light did not come back on. They drove it 80 miles and still no lights came on. The door ajar light was dimmly lite however. Suspecting the alarm system I took the car back. Five days later the lights came back on with the above symptoms and had not reconnected the aftermarket stuff. There was no P0112 code that I know of. Next week there will be a tech rep from Toyota to check it out. Any ideas????????????

You are lucky they didn't hassle you about the aftermarket stuff. Is it still sputtering at 3000 rpms? I have had the lights come on four seperate times

1) Intake istall--tightened up the connections
2) bad OEM alternator--replaced
3) loose gas cap--reset after tightening cap
4) bad VVTI controller-replaced

No symptoms on the last one other than the lights coming on. When I took it in the service advisor thought it might be the oxygen sensor as they had done a couple of those. Turned out to be the VVTI controller. Good luck and let us know the results..........

Thanks for the reply. I know this subject has been covered, but I would like to get all the input I can. There maybe some chance that this is something other than codes or TB's. The more AMMO I have the better. So far the dealer has been great in trying to help me solve this issue.
