Default Springs,springs,spring

I want to staRT OFf saying that everyone's car that is lowered looks awesome. I have been looking at all of the threads on different brands for lowering springs. If you read my last post, you will know that i just got my second tC. My first tC haD TRD springs and the ride was unbeatable. I want to give my 2cents on all the springs. Feedback is a must!

TRD- Pros- The stock ride quality was retained and the performance was increased.
Cons- Just not low enough for my taste. Also, if you are looking to put a sub in the rear, since the spring drops the car 1.25 inches all around, a heavy sub and people in the back seat tends to sag the back a lot.

Hotchkis- Pros- Looks effin sweet!!
Cons- from looking at all the pics, the majority of the pics look good, however, there are some that have the rear sagging.

Tein S Tech- Pros- Looks sweet as well.
Cons- Talking to alot of performance shops in my area and other mechanics, this spring lowers the car a lot! if im not mistaken, 2.4 in front and 2.0 in rear. While it makes the car look, in my opinion the best out of all the springs, i just dont know if that much lowering will wear out the bushings and stock shocks real quick. I have also heard that lowering the car this much actually hurts the performance of the car if the stock shocks are'nt replaced.

Tein H Tech- Pros- Performance. This spring seems to have the perfect combination of height in the front and in the rear, which results in performance. Since this car is Front wheel drive, these springs aid in the gripping of the front tires to the asphault with the agressive stance it poses. These springs lower the car about .5 inches more in the front.
Cons- The look seems to not be admired by many. Due to it's agressive stance that lowers the front more than the rear. Does not give a perfectly even drop.

-- So just wanted to give my opinions on this subject. In case, you are wondering, I have not fully made my mind up yet. I live in miami and the roads are not very friendly. I wouold want to go with the S, but my area with all the flooding, i would be foolish to go so low. If I am wrong in any of the info that I have presented, please let me know. I have not purchased any springs yet, so any new info hels out a lot. I am also looking not* to replace my shocks. At least for now.

trds are great. after 36k, you can get any springs, but the trds maintaine suspension warranty - so that can go under pros. I had 2 defective shocks and they were replaced free even though I installed my own trds...

Tein H-Techs blend the best of both the look and performance. As for the suspension warranty, I asked a friend's dad (civil lawyer) and the warranty is only void on the suspension if the mechanic who did the work IS NOT certified. If he is certified the work is considered done professionally and still retains the warranty. Thats a pro for all springs.

I went with H-Techs. I previously had the Sprints installed. I like the ride of the H-Techs. The Sprints were kool but the back sagged. In my profile I still have the Sprint drop.
