Default Megan s-pipe, mid-pipe, OE-RS rear section (Sound Clips)

I just installed the Megan exhaust that I bought from www.wesellcarparts.com. It consists of the Megan s-pipe, mid-pipe, and OE-RS rear section. All parts are bolt on, and can individually be a direct replacement for stock. Take a listen.

My microphone seems to not record the sounds under around 60Hz. Both outside the car and inside, the most obvious sounds are the very low notes. At idle, it's nearly the same volume as the stock, but lower. Inside the car, the vibration from the motor mounts coupled with the exhaust make a lot of low frequency noise Once I'm over 1200rpm, that vibration goes away and the cabin is barely louder than stock. If you wanted to compare it to a production car, it sounds a bit like the Mustang GT in volume and tone, but without the separation of exhaust pulses, and the V8 refinement in the high end

Overall I'm pleased with this exhaust. It seems that this is a nice setup for someone who wants a little bit of noise without being obnoxious. I also had this rigged up with just the OE-RS rear section, which sounded similar to the TRD, but about half the volume.

What do ya think? If someone has better recording equipment, I'd be glad to meet in the Central NJ area to get another recording.
