I'd suggest looking at a good set/combination spring upgrade. You can tune the ride and height this way and save a substantial amount of money in the process. Neothin 03-01-2007, 04:07 PM ummm you cant adjust ride height with springs ^^ i'd go with a set of s-tech's. I rock em and i have no gap up front and a finger in the rear. b_adair87 03-01-2007, 04:17 PM Thanks well i know u cant with springs, but anyways u have 18's? And how does it corner? BuddhasTC 03-01-2007, 04:42 PM IMO, and on my car, H-Techs provide a nice drop and a very nice ride. If you want an even smoother ride, upgrade your shocks also, Koni has some nice ones...This combo will prove cheaper than the coilovers b_adair87 03-01-2007, 04:58 PM What all do coilovers replace? Would they be replacing like the springs and shocks? jschneideriii 03-01-2007, 05:29 PM If you read his original post, he states he does not think he needs to be able to adjust his ride height. He does want to reduce the gap between the wheel and the 18 rim/tires. For that, he can lower (adjust) the ride height to get the look he wants with springs. jschneideriii 03-01-2007, 06:19 PM Coilover is short for "coil (spring) over strut". It consists of a shock absorber with a coil spring encircling it. The shock absorber and spring are preassembled as a unit prior to installation, and are replaced as a unit. This provides for optimal damping without torsional loads. Some coilovers are adjustable for ride height and hardness for tuning based on different track/competitive events. b_adair87 03-01-2007, 06:29 PM Thanks well what would you recommend to get rid of the gap and still be good with a lip kit? It would be nice to corner better and have a smooth ride |
