$250 for lowering spring install... ripoff ?
it's a local shop called p-tuning. they have a tc and an xb they customized for shows.
To me i'd rather let a place that knows about the tc than some random mechanic doing it by instructions on the manual.
What do you guys think ?

well providing that you don't have a lift, then you can't do it VERY easily though I have heard it done using jack stands. It really isn't that difficult at all to do yourself. A little time consuming but very do-able. You just have to get alignment done afterwards.
did mine myself. and i am in virginia. i also have a set of trd springs on stock shocks/struts for sale. local pickup it would be 200 installed with stock trade offs, 250 installed and you keep your stocks.
Shop around. I was quoted between $250 - $850...yes $850. I finally found a friend that new some guys that would do it for $125... after doing it they said that it took longer than they thought and that they would bump up the price next time.
The biggest issue is the design of the rears. When they type it into their computers, it pops up as 4-6 hours of labor... that is why you will see high prices.
It can be done without going to a shop... but from what I hear.... unless you have the right equipment.... it's a pain.
