how do i bypass the seatbelt plugs

Default how do i bypass the seatbelt plugs

im putting race seats in my xb and was curious on how i by pass the seat belt harness or if it is possible or am i gonna just have to deal with the flashing seat belt lights?
if anyone has answers please let me know

There are sensors in the seats. If no one is in a seat, the light doesn't flash. I would assume based on that if you disconnect the wiring under the seat, they wouldn't flash.

are you replacing the seat belt buckle with the seat? id say hold onto the old seatbelt buckle and bolt it to the seat unless you have a 5 point harness. and with that 5 point i hope you have it mounted correctly. if you dont (i.e) bolt it to the floor or to the back child seat anchor) your gonna kill yourself and break all your ribs.

be careful if your just goinhg to mount the buckle loosely somewhere. our belts have tensioners in it. they deploy with the airbags and take up any slack in a crash. that could be a flying projectile so make sure its bolted good somewhere
