Default Demand for 05 FM auto tc? Best places to advertise?

Are these cars still in demand? I want to upgrade to a Lexus (LOVE Toyota products!), so I listed my tc on Craig's list and Auto Trader. It has 42K miles and I've listed it for $14,500 with no takers at all (of course, I just listed it Sat night)! It's auto, FM, and I had the 6 cd changer, spoiler, auto dim mirror, leather shift ****, and applique installed. Very clean. No smokers, damage, etc. I've just had NO takers! Carmax offered 11k. Thought that was too low. Maybe I'm just impatient. Thoughts? Anyone else sold one recently? I'm in VA...are they more popular/desired on the west coast?

Is auto trader a good place to advertise? Any other sites? Not looking to pay another $55 for an ad though!

Not in that much demand. I traded my 05 with 33k in for a 350Z and in checking the contract (to see what you might actually get in a sale) I was actually "paid" $9,145.50 for the tC. Understand that is on paper so it actually was a bit different.

But you are gonna get about 10k for your car.

dang, i must not drive my 05 at all. I got 14k miles. How much do you owe on the loan (if you have one). You have to remember, if the buyers know our cars that a Brand New 07 model will be at least $2-3k more than what your asking?

Hmmm...wish I had thought of selling it sooner. Oh well. I've enjoyed it while I had it.

As far as putting it in the classified section, I don't think I can since I don't have 50 posts. I've been a member and mostly a lurker with a few posts here and there since 2005, but apparently I still can't post in the classified section. Doesn't seem fair to those of us who prefer to read rather than post. Oh well...guess I "could" start posting a bunch of meaningless things like "agree" or a bunch of emoticons.

I still owe right at $10,000 for it (paid $19,500 new for it I think).

I drive it a lot to and from work (60 miles 5 days a week for the most part), plus we use it for trips and such as opposed to dear husband's F350 truck...which is just...cumbersome...

Geez...maybe I should be happy with 13K private party? =( Say it isn't so!

So any ideas on other places to list it or is auto trader the main/best place?

13k is still pretty good considering you got 10k on the loan, 3k for you!
