5Zigen FN01R-C 18x8.5 w/ +48 offset is the only rim I specifically know off hand that will fit. No point in running a wide rim if you're not going to run a 245/35/18 or wider tire. I've heard people running wider but I don't know the exact wheels they're running.

^^^ Thanks for your reply, I am going to try to run a set of 275/35/18 all the way around on a Scion TC droped on coilovers. Just want to know what I can get away with here.

Hold on there, you might want to research that one a little more. With a 245/35/18, things are tight. a 275 tire is more than an inch wider than that. You might rub.

it is pointless to run a 275 on FF car, your just gonna weigh yourself down.

the MAX tire imho that you should run is a 235, that is perfect for our car. if your really concerned about grip, get some really nice grippy summer tires like the Falken Azenis RT-615.. 245's+ are not needed.

back the to question on hand, a friend of mine if running a 18x9 with a +24 offset, so im sure you could run that, and maybe more.. but its pointless.

stick to a 8-8.5 inch wheel

A +24 will stick out a ton on a 9" wide rim.
