Default Just ordered a TC today

This is my first post to this very informative board. I just ordered an Indigo Ink Pearl TC 5-speed today and should be recieving it in 6-8 weeks. Anyone have any suggestions for a new Tc owner?? I am really interested in beefing up the HP and stock stereo. Thanks in advance and i am sure i will be on this board often....
By the way, how slow are the next 2 months going to seem for me??

Forever... I'm on 2 weeks exactly and I'm starting to lose it... oh well, only 2 weeks left to go (Score for NY's "short" wait time :? )

It's worth the wait. I picked up my tC about 8 hours ago (after just a 3 week wait). Also Indigo Ink 5 speed. It is a beautiful car, you're going to love it.

i'm glad to hear it's worth the wait! I'm already counting down the days. I did order the indigo ink, but today i let the saleman know that i would take black if i couldn't get my first choice. I thought that might help my chances.??

You can do a search as I know this same one has come up in last month. But here are a few:

1. make sure your CD door opens/closes okay
2. make sure your air vents do not adjust with air going through
3. there is a creaking roof issue but most of the time it does not present itself until you have a few hundred miles
4. make sure the A/C is cool enough. Some posts have stated their tC needed more freon
5. make sure the air pressure is correct. mine was not adjusted from the shipping air pressure. I had over 40 PSI in all the tires.

When you find the other post on this one, you will see other items to watch out for...

Congrats on the tC. It is one fantastic (and low price) car......

Thanks to everyone for your replies.... Yes i did order from landers north. J Pauly said (over the phone) that they could get me one in a few weeks. Seemed kind of shady to me?? I went with landers because i have heard that their service department offers *okay* service and is only 30min drive for me.

Remember, you don't have to service your car at the dealership you bought it from...
