I was wondering if anybody had this setup. http://www.showstoppersusa.com/product_info.php?cPath=51_132_134&products_id=699

I wnated to know how it feels and how the car reacts to having the TIE BAR upgraded as well as the sway...

for all you gurus, would the oversteer be adversely affected with this combo if i dont also get a front sway bar..or should i be ok with my h.techs and this progress setup?

thanks alot boys n girls

i've never seen the progress bar and tie bar, looks promising though, especially with that price tag.

wow, that's a lotta posts about progress... I skimmed through them, nothing of great importance unless you want reviews on the bars.

On your original question, tie bars do next to nothing on the TC except looks, same with strut tower bars. I had the DC front and the Monster MotorWorks strut tower bars and they were the last suspension modification I did and there was a negligible difference, although the car felt a whole lot lighter with $200+ missing from my pocket.

Progress sways are decent, but they obviously copied the TRD design for the rear and used the same diameter (22mm) - With the front progress bar as well, which looks beefy, you'll most likely see more UNDERsteer with the progress setup if the rear bar is not set to the stiffest setting as opposed to the adjustability of say, the Hotchkis sway combo.

Using JUST the rear progress sway bar would be a good move, would neutralize the car much more than it is, and you will have more settings to adjust for more oversteer, but it won't be crazy even on the stiffest settings. I used to have only the rear TRD bar before I moved to the Hotchkis front and rear bar.

For the money, I would get the TRD REAR SWAY BAR (http://www.trdsparks.com/displayparts.php?Mdl_dtl=447&Part_cat=11&parts_id=326) and put the other $50 in a savings account to buy better tires. All the suspension modifications in the world won't help if your tires let go.

wtf.... Progress has front and rear now.... I kinda wish I would have waited for them to produce, but I am happy with my Hotchkis front and rear set....
