Just to start off I have searched. and I don't need anyone who hasn't had nitrous on their tC to answer these next couple of questions, i don't care what you had on this or that car. I wanted to know as far as shots go, how high a shot you're you running and any problems from shots you have ran. Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of a guide to help install or something I can use as a reference?

this type of question is usually answered in the Forced Induction Forum

a 75 to a 100 shot is the most that i'd really want to run on the car before i'd want to upgrade the internals and such. there's a tC here in orlando that has been running a 75 shot for months and doesnt ahve any problems. I'll be spraying come may/june, and i'll throw a 75 shot at the car.

thanks Neothin, anyone else? i actually found the pdf file for nitrous express (which is the system i have) so I don't need the install guide but I'd still like to hear what you guys are running and problems you're seeing with it (or problems with what you have run).

I have an automatic and am running a 75 shot. Motor seems to handle it well and my car hauls a good deal of butt! Only problem Ive encountered is when I have a lot of wheel spin when I engage in first gear, my transmission wont shift into 2nd gear. It will tap off the limiter until I let off and then it will shift. Not sure what the problem is but I will be getting a window switch so that my nitrous isnt running when I tap the limiter...

tranny probably didnt have time to react...mines done it ,like in the rain/snow if it gets loose from me...just hits the rev limiter, waits a little, shifts up, then shifts down...

its hard to tell, but i know ive done it w/o Nitrous, so it hopefully is nothing

Hmm its never done that to me before without nitrous... kinda scary but I think its... I just heard that if my nitrous is active while its doing that I could cause some serious damage. Thats what I need the window switch...

have you ever looked at your air/fuel ratio when spraying? if so, what are you running at?
