Wasn't sure exactly where to post this..but here goes. So, after I finished my sirius install I got to looking under the hood. Clean...but plain...so I decided to take a few pieces off and powder coat them. Just got everything back on and snapped a few pictures. What do you think so far?

Battery strap and cc cable holder in reflective chrome...


Hood prop in reflective chrome...


A/C line bracket in reflective chrome....


Valve cover in Navy Blue with Ghost Pearl...changes color depending on how the light hits it....

Nicely done! I really like the valve cover. The hood prop is a nice touch too.

 

A good cleaning...hit it with a scotchbrite pad and then powder coated it!

No....only the top was coated and it was not media blasted. I've gotten to the point that I almost never media blast a cover....ONLY if I can remove the baffle will I even consider it.
