Default xb transmission swap possible?

Hey I have an xB, it's my first car. I'm glad I got to get experience on the road withough having to deal with manual and all, but now I really want the control that automatic lacks. Is it possible to have the transmission changed in my xB, or should I just come to terms with my auto

Sure, you can have it done, but I guarantee your resale value will drop tremendously.

should have gotten it from the beginning. to swap to a stick on these cars is $$$$$ and totally not worth it. to do it u would need a new transmission, shift cables, new pedal assembly, new brake master cylinder (hydrolic clutch uses brake fluid and is not separate) you would also need a new computer as the one currently on ur car controls the automatic transmission, ur speedo will also be off as a result of the different gearing, and yes ur resale value will drop especially when someone pulls up a carfax on ur car and sees the trannies don't match.
Sell ur car and buy a stick car and u would actually come out ahead since the auto has a much higher resale value.

hmm, thanks for the advice but i think sell and buying one with stick is too much to deal with , plus I've done a few light mods like underlights, vinyls, and an intake, but even though those are basic things id be annoying to restore it to factory and reinstall it all.

...not to mention sentimental value...i love my box
