Just bought a new 06' Xa, replaced Trans Am and Cadillac..
AND IM LOVING IT!!!...
Hey to everyone here...but seriously...my expectations of my new car werent high, as I was looking at econo cars because I was tired of horrible fuel mileage and constant repairs to my cars...I looked at the new hyundai accent and the yaris and some others and at the end of the day the Xa seemed like the best bang for the buck...
I paid $13,600 with the armrest, ipod stereo, floormats, and the dealer gave me a new ipod nano....out the door was 15,450 with taxes new tag and the dealer fee....I feel it was a decent deal, yes? no?...
This car is a blast to drive and it doesnt feel anywhere as weak engined as I figured it would be...ive had it just over a week and have about 940 miles on it....lovin every mile...
Its a black mica and I just tinted it all around and installed an alarm....16" rims later and maybe lowering springs...besides that I really dont have plans to do much to it...maybe something here and there but Im done with the speed demon in me for now...i just need a reliable car for college....once again Hey to everyone!

Congrats! What year trans am did u get rid of? Hope it wasn't a collectable, I got rid or a 1971 Monte Carlo and a 1996 Grand Am for my xa. Still wish I had the Monte though. Thats pretty cool how u got a free ipod nano. The mats n armrest u could have bougt online and installed them urself, save afew$$
Congrats!
And welcome, these cars are so amazingly fun.
Like the others said, be sure to stop by xATeam.com sometime. Lots of nice little Scion sites out there, and the community is really helpful most of the time!

Actually it was a 1990 Trans Am which had a 1994 LT1 in it from a z28...still have it...its for sale now...the other car was a 1992 Cadillac deville and while owning those I also had a 1988 Jeep Cherokee....none ever got anything out of the teens when it came to gas milege.
