Hi all

Im in the market for some new rims and even though i hear a lot of scion's already have these, im looking at the konig unknown's.


the rims specs are:

Size:17in , width:8in 5:100, Offset:40mm

will these rims fit my stock tires without any types of problems?? please anyone help me out!!

1 more thing....where do you think is a good place to have them installed on the stock tire?

 

i think any basic tire shop can do the job for you.

 

they're going to be slightly stretched. the 215 is slightly small for an 8" wide rim.

 

not really... im running a 195 on a 8" and i consider that a slight stretch.

 

slight stretch?!? its gonna be a huge stretch a 215 on a 8 wide is meh. i'd go to a 7.5 if you could.

i know eujin runs a 215 on an 8 and its pretty intense stretch

 

this is the only pic i have because im at work. 195/50 toyo t1r. on work equips 01 15x8 not much of a stretch.

 

thats bc its 50 sidewall if you look at the tred its well in the middle if you do that same stretch with a smaller sidewall your gonna get a lot more stretch look.

 

is that safe? I know nothing about rims and tires. Wouldn't a tire that's stretched give the bead a workout, especially during a hard corner or a sudden move?
