Here's the story. After I fueled up I put the gas cap back on an noticed that even after it clicks it still isn't firmly on like normal. I took it off, tried a few other times, and multiple clicks. Still the gas cap won't stay on tight. Now my check engine light comes on. Manual says it's probably the gas cap and I went to Autozone and borrowed the computer and it says something about emission control - very small leak. The guy at Autozone said it's the gas cap causing it. He looked and there was nothing that would fit my car at Autozone.

So the question is: Where can I order a gas cap/fuel cap online that will fit an '06 tc? I really don't want to hassle with the dealership. Any help would be appreciated! :D

 

I would just call the dealer and have them ship it to you.

 

I guess I am just too buff for my own good. First I turn the gas cap too much, next thing you know I'll pull the door off :D

 

just go to auto zone, they'll have it....at least they did for every other car i owned
