Underseat cold cathode rings - the $5 solution

About a year ago, Wal-Mart had these 10" blue cold cathode rings on clearance for $5 for a box of two of them . They plug into the cigarette lighter and they can be set to "full on" or they can beat to the music. I bought a set and figured I'd put them in my gameroom at some point.
Last week I had the bright idea to install them under the seats of my new xA instead. What I did was mount them onto some very think plywood then I mounted/hung the plywood under each seat with zipties. Worked great. They cast their light straight down and out, the seats can still move, and if I ever wanted to remove them it would be a simple matter of snipping the zipties.
Right now I have them actually plugged into the cigarette lighter but I just bought one of those add-a-circuits from AutoZone the other day and I'm going to wire them into the fusebox.
They provide a lot of good blue light under the seats and you can't beat the price. I tried to take pics of them at night with them on but I can't figure out how to get my camera to take a pic with the low light like that.
Anyway, just thought I'd share.
