It seam that xB2 is close to size of the Element. Ele is 8 more horses, price way higher, but I am sure it isn't equip with xB's standard safety equipment. And if it is, Scion still priced their car cheaper than honda ele. Check it out for yourself.

I agree... And those half doors suck. They make much more sense on an FJ, which utilizes its short wheelbase where the Honda would never go... Offroad.

Yeah read user opinions on those doors sometime. It only takes until the first time you want to drop off someone (kids for example) curbside when they are in the back seat and you will think of all kinds of new names for the Honda engineers who designed those doors. :tap:

Surprisingly, it test drives pretty nicely, too. When you take a look at the Consumer Reports tests on it, however, you will note that they had the rear end skid out on them during their non-standard driving tests. Not a good sign, in my opinion and was enough to scare me off. Not what I expected from Honda, I have to admit.

Our local dealer sold both toyota and honda. That was the first time I test drove an xB. I drove the element, crv and xB. The drive was night and day. The element was very stiff and the blindspots were bad. It was a terrible drive. The Element was immediately dropped from our list based on the ride.

In comparision, the xB was a very smooth and awesome drive. We had the luxury of testing them back to back versus comparing two different days. We also had four in the car and all said the same thing.

The only reason we did not buy the xB was its size and the fact that my toyota did not have a lot of miles at the time. Now that they enhanced the xB and now that my toyota has 120k+ miles, we will get the xB2.

That is assuming it drives as well or better then the xB1. If it drives the way the element did back then, then we are off looking for a different car.

The odds are better that you'll bump into Jimmy Hoffa at the local Olive Garden. The ride will be on par with tC/Camry.

I actually like the Element, but consider it more of a small truck/van-like vechicle (and as such, don't expect the same type of ride.) If you want a reasonably small vehicle for a lot of light, in-town hauling it's not a bad little vehicle.
