Default ebay

IM SURE THIS HAS BEEN ASKED BEFORE. but i couldnt find it so....
should i trust off brands from ebay for CAI because they are like $70 and i know that the only thing a CAI is is a bigger piece of pipe that goes down near your wheel so why would it matter what brand it is?

wth is OBX because there is a catback system and its cheap. idk if i should trust ebay or not im pretty skeptical so i would like to here some ebay stories please thank you.

oh and what is the tsudo ets catback never heard of it?

Any CAI on a tC is illegal in CA--don't throw away your stock equipment.

NO! No intake is CARB approved. It sucks but it's true. Funny thing though is there are a TON of cars running them here. LOL

eBay is legit... you just got to watch out for some sellers. Check on their feedback and make sure they don't have a lot of negatives and you should be alright.

And andrew1782, my friend has the AEM cai and he does have a carb approved seal and number on it.

patrick.. no CAI intake for our cars are CARB approved..

he probably stole that number from somewhere else if he actually has it.

even check the AEM website...
http://www.aempower.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=1133

Emissions Compliance - No, Offroad Use Only

btw.. the box that they come in are generic.. and has a little 50 state legal thing on the box... however... it's really not.

No aftermarket intake will be CARB legal because removing the stock airbox means you delete a little carbon filter that prevents unburned hydrocarbons from escaping out the intake when the motor's off. All part of being a ULEV.

Don't live in Cali but I understand they put CARB stickers on silly things like mufflers and other parts that have nothing to do with emissions (lol). In fact, I think I got a CARB sticker for the AEM bypass filter I've never used.
