Default cleaning the "snake" skin

05 XB. How do you all clean the snake skin surface of the dash and doors? I am about to for the first time, and didn't know if Armor All would be best or would it make for a funky surface?

What are you all using?

Meguire's Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner does a wonderful job. BTW, this issue has been discussed on this forum many times before.

Get Mothers Preserves cleaner, it comes in a red spray bottle. Spray the stuff onto a cloth or old shirt or something and wipe down the dash and everything. Works really well.

I decided not to use armor all on this vehicle. Just because of the way the dust clings to it, and makes it worse. So I just use a micro fiber cloth and get it a little damp. Then just wipe it down.

I've heard that ArmorAll does more harm than good. Apparently it dries out the vinyl and plastic trim.
That's what I was told by numerous "detailers" when I work at the parts store.

I use Armor All, diluted 50% with water, and a small sponge. Cleans up nicely, and doesn't leave that ultra-glossy finish (like some silicone tire dressings). Also good to use on the black wiper arms. Keeps them looking new for a good long time.

A Swiffer pad works pretty good... picks up the dust in the crevices pretty well.
