I just had my Konig Uknowns refinished, after they were done they had to clear coat two of them. Now the two that were not clear coated look shiny and feel smooth while the two that were look dull and feel a little rough. I called the people who did them and they said to bring the two that were clear coated by to get them machined so they will be nice and shiny like the other two. I am not really sure what "machined" is and why did they not just machine them before they gave them back to me?

so does getting them machined defeat the purpose of the clear coat?

 

they said they would do it for free so i was just wondering if it is worth doing it?
