Default oil pressure gauge?

i know there has been many topics on this topic, and yes i have used the search button. but i am still a little confused on what else i need to get for it. do i need an adapter or a new fitting. help me out please! Im wantin to get my gauges installed by friday

The gauge should come with the required fitting.

you need the gauge itself (get an electric gauge, not mechanical), and you need to get an oil block adaptor (it connects to your oil pan, and the oil filter connects to this). you sender unit for the oil presure gauge will connect to this block. run the wire from the sender unit to the gauge, and run your wires for the lights for the gauge, and your done

why would you lose oil? if you meen in the install process? yes. you might as well do an oil change when you do the install because you need to drain the oil.

I am not sure how the filter is situated for the TC but if you are careful you should only lose whats in the filter. So go buy an extra quart and you should be set.

negative. your going to lose oil on the install. its not that big of a deal though IMO

Greddy makes them and a few other known companies

or you can buy a cheap one made in china imitation that could fail...seems like a simpe part....but is it??

You could "T" off the where the stock oil pressure sender is. You might lose 2 or 3 drips of oil.
