Default SA vs Scikotics...whats the difference?

I used to be in Scion Evolution and Team Scion Eyed back in Austin, TX a few years ago, so I know how the club rivalry thing is. I have been reading the forums for the past few weeks. I've talked to some Scikotics members in person, and talked to a few SA members online.

What I am wondering is what club would have the most stuff going on in or around Tempe that a 21 year old and his girlfriend (who isn't too interested in cars) would have fun doing? Is it possible to join both? What are the advantages and disadvantages to SA and Scikotics? Basically I just want to join a club so I can have fun, hang out, and not worry about any drama.

Your input is much appreciated.

to avoid the "drama" and rivalry i think it best to discuss this with the head of each club and make your own decision. I am a member of Scikotics but as a regional moderator and as a club member it would not be fare of me to tell you which club to join since they both have some really great members.

Another suggestion is to maybe just wait and show up to some meets from each club and see what your feeling is then. Scikotics has a meet every month usually on the second saturday of the month where we discuss our plans, events, and immediate goals which will now be held at Camelback Scion.

You can also check out the websites which is www.scikotics.com which has its nationwide chapters on and www.scionapocalypse.com

I have visited both websites. And yes, I think one of the best things to do would show up to a few meetings of each before I decide which one to join.

The purpose of my post is not to cause any rivalry, it is to inform me on what each club offers or doesn't offer, and from that information along with meeting people from both club is what I will base my choice off of.

i totally understand what were you trying to do and don't fault you for it. Problem is if you have people from both clubs posting the advantages of each club then it because like that commercial with the two kids running a lemonade stand across the street from one another. Once they both go down to 0 in price to compete they start offering things included with the lemonde to make it seem like a better deal than the one across the street.

I dont want that to happen with either one of these clubs. They're both fresh in the valley and both deserve a fare chance at gaining members which should be done by the attitude of its members, the benefits that it includes of course, and the participation in the community and with Scion.
