Lol. its all good. Man hopefully 1st of the year. Insurance gave me $2500 more than what was needed to pay off the tC. So thats my down payment. But, I decided to work and just drive my dads susburban and save about $2000 by january or end of january order the rest of the turbo parts. and buy the car and boost it immediately. Or atleast within two months.. lol
I have priced everything out and I have exactly $2700 more dollars to spend to get boosted. That included gauges, n fuel management.

Well I owed 15,000 on the car they gave me 16,000 for it. then the most they would cover on aftermarket parts was 1500 so i got that. so thats where i got the 2500 from. Im only using 2000 for my downpayment. And use the 500 too ad to my turbo funds. so I only need to save about 2500. So i need to find a job pronto by the end of the week.

This thread is old as $h1t but I thought an improved diagram might be of assistance to some future modders. I made this for my Gen 5.5 Camry, but its the same as the 07+ tC. The OP listed the wrong port for the o2 sensor according to the Engine Management section of the FSM. It has been corrected in this diagram/pinout. Enjoy!

So what is the advantage of wiring the 1k ohm resistor in series with the o2 sensor? I've tried googling around for it but I can't seem to locate how it helps with narrowbands.
I'm asking because we did the first start up on my 09 tC last night and it was idling like crap(fluctuating between 600-1000 rpm and between 10-11 afr with stock injectors @5% duty cycle) and I wasn't sure if the resistor might have been the culprit since my o2 reading was 3.2V. I removed the resistor but didn't get to see if it changed anything since we had an oil rupture on the turbo feed line, friend over torqued during install and broke the adapter...
Also can I get some pointers on the setup page for the fic. I'm using the 3.07a version of the software and under the fuel section I have an option to load from the tps or maf. Also should I run the maf and o2 sensors under voltage or percent? Using stock maf and the map sensor on fic for o2. FIC firmwares are z104.hex and x3.81.hex. These are the proper firmware versions for 2009 scion tc? Using basemap from Paul at Dezod.

If your sensor is sending a voltage greater than 1v, a resistor is not needed. It is only needed for sensors that output between 0.1-1v. See Page 21 of the FIC manual for the appendix on o2 sensor theory: FIC Instructions
The instructions in that guide should improve driveability. Its instructions for achieving the desired ratios are fairly straightforward. As far as your specific tune, I would suggest a few dyno sessions with a reputable tuner.
