Default Big 3 Upgrade

So I have my battery chassis ground to the tab under the battery tray. Its a 1.5ft run of 0 awg wire. This being so short you would def. expect a resistance less then .5 ohms. Mine is .7.
This leads me to my question if anyone has done it else were with better luck? my voltage with the car on with a optima yellow top is 4.1-4.18 roughly. I havent done the trans ground simply because i cant find a picture of which bolt to pull out but i hope that helps as well.
Lastly if anyone has a back battery where did you ground that worked best?
Oh and one more thing.. brands of high output alternators that work well with our cars 180-240 amp. not afraid to spend money for a good product.

These forums are dead these days guess most got their car how they wanted and moved on.

voltage at battery should be 12.6-13.8 while running, 14.2 while charging
