Default Black dust on rims

I noticed that after I wash my car, the two front tires start turning black around the rims in about 1 week. I thought it was the brakes and changed them but that didn't help. I'm just wondering what you guys might think it is. How do you post pictures?

could just be brake dust? I just put all new brakes on 2500 miles ago and my 2 front white rims become black within a few days.

It is brake dust. Next time try getting a set of ceramic pads, they will emit less dust, but it is going to be a problem no matter what if you drive a lot. I drive 120 miles a day and the only way to keep up with it is to wash my car weekly.
