205/65/15 on stock steelies?
I looked through the sticky thread but didn't see anything. It may have been asked before, but I would like to confirm as I plan on getting new tires tomorrow. I saw on another forum that some guy was running 205/65/15s on the stock wheels without rubbing, it just made the xb sit a little higher. will these fit? I'd like to get the biggest I can without rubbing. Preferably 205s.
Also, right now new wheels aren't an option, so I have to stick with the stock ones.
Thanks!

The stock recommended size (for both front and rear) is 185/65r15 88s so the Stock Revs per Mile is 850.3
If you go with 205/65/15s, then Diameter Difference: 4.05% from stock that would create revs per mile to be 816.2.
When the Actual speed is 60mph or 100kmph then speedometer reading will be using 205/65/15s will be 57.5 mph or 95.9 kmph. So the Speedometer Difference is 4.203% too slow. So you calculate your fuel consumption based on Speedometer will not be accurate. So It is recommended to be within 3% of diameter difference. SO you can use 205/60/15 or 205/55/15.
