Hi I'm new to the forums but I went to a local shop today to check out my car and installing a catback exhaust. we found out today that there are 2 catalytic converters and one is connected to the resonator. my question is that if i take out the resonator and cat will it still be ok and pass emissions

 

A Visual inspection will fail you everytime if they know what they are looking for.

 

What kind of forced induction are you running that might benefit from removing the cats?
