Default coolant light

Does the coolant light on all of these cars stay on and blue until it warms up or do I have a sensor problem? Mine comes on and stays on until it is warm. I didn't notice it in test driving any. I'm in Texas so its not like its been really cold either. Someone help me if you can. Thanks.

Your fine, this has already been discussed before but I can't find where. It's just a temp gauge. It's cool when you start you car and stays on for a minute and when the car is warmed it cuts off. If you are still worried try searching for more info on it.
