Default Tanabe, HKS, TRD, Magnaflow

I know there are tons of "I cant decide what I want" threads, but after doin a bit of research, i wanna bring previous threads (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ote=viewresult) and such into account when I, STNC, picks his exhaust.

The thread I posted claims a lot of interior noise with the concept g. Is this true?
Videos like this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xoRoBc8MV38&feature=related make me really attracted to the exhaust.

BUT!

Idk anything about exhausts, I just want something that looks and sounds nice. I have also heard/heard that the HKS sounds better at high rpms, and the auto tC (what I have) cant go as high as the manual.

The TRD...Its the dealer option, thats about it.

Magnaflow, brand name, expensive...

HELP!

I'm debating right now between tanabe concept G, tanabe medallion touring and trd.

These forums are though, because some say they're loud and others say they're quiet.

I think you need to see/hear them in person. Everyone has their own definition of "quiet" and "loud."

I'm going to hear trd and concept G tonight. I'll let you know how the interior noise is.

none of those =p

really depends what you plan on doing with the car, you just want an axleback for now or are you eventually going full exhaust route? i wouldn't limit myself to an axleback, go with a full cat-back system.

check out the ARK's exhaust, the DT-S and N-II, if you want the one of the best. also the Megan Racing OE-RS sound great at any speed, while their Drift Spec is a little louder. and the Dezod N/A exhaust is also pretty sweet. some links below:

....here's my Megan OE-RS soundclip:

also a good idea to browse youtube for more soundclips, that helps when making exhaust decisions.

STNC, I got the chance last night to see/hear a few exhausts. I really like the tanabe concept G. It has a deep rumble. Very quiet at idle. There was no interior noise until the rpms really get high and even then it wasn't annoying. Nice looking canister exhaust that isn't obnoxiously loud.

The TRD exhaust is a little louder. Very nice sound that you can hear even at low speeds. I like it a lot, however the tip looks stock. I didn't sit in the car so I don't know how loud the interior gets, but i was told it's not loud.

Magnaflow (precision muffler axleback) was the quietest, but very nice. Low with a little deep rumble. Nice if you want something different, a little louder than stock and won't attract cops.

Injen is way too loud for my taste.

Hope this helps!
